Our Lady of All Nations

Dearest Ones,

Advent is a time during which we think about Mary, the Mother of God. How could it be possible for a little 15-year old girl to become the Mother of God? Yet, that is what God asked of her because she was humble and little. She didn't go around bragging she was to be the Mother of God. She had to endure much misunderstanding, as the punishment for getting pregnant outside of marriage was being stoned to death. Dear St. Joseph came to the rescue and married her, even though he didn't understand her condition. We can learn so much from Mary about keeping still and not making excuses all the time.

God gave Mary to us as mother to all. Even those who do not believe in her, still she is their mother. What does it mean to be a mother to us? Just as our physical mother looks after our needs, so Mary, as our spiritual mother, is deeply concerned that we all reach heaven some day. She is there to help us, just as our earthly mothers are. She prays for us and leads us to the Holy Spirit. We do not worship Mary, as we do God, we simply honor her. Mary always points us to her Son. We can go to her with any of our needs. In the Bible we read about the wedding feast of Cana when the waiters ran out of wine. They went to Mary first with their problem and she immediately told them to go to Jesus. "Do whatever He tells you," she said. She didn't attempt to fix things herself - she is only a messenger.

Because our heavenly Mother cares for us, she has been appearing all over the world: Japan, Africa, Medjugorje, Mexico, France, Holland, Ireland and many more countries. The message she gives is the same everywhere - it is not something new and different each time. Mary tells us that she will help us to go to Jesus, her Son, if we will only love each other, forgive and be sorry for sin.

A little known person, Ida Peerdeman, had over 60 visions and messages from Mary, in Holland, 1905 through 1996. Ida was a very ordinary woman, never married, went to school to be a secretary and she told few people about her visions. Although she was able to hold a job, she had great physical suffering. Many did not believe her, but Ida did not worry about this and continued to be bright and cheerful, always willing to help others. However, it was not until 1996, just before Ida entered the kingdom of heaven at the age of ninety, that the Church finally gave full approval to the apparitions and now they are being spread throughout the world. This made Ida extremely happy.

These are Mary's words to Ida and to the whole world:

"I am the Lady of all Nations. I love you, dear children, and I desire to cover you with my mantle of peace. God permits me to come to bring you Peace and Joy. I am the Immaculate Conception, which means I was born without original sin. Jesus could not be born of someone in sin, so that is why God made me without sin. I say to all the nations of the earth, humble yourselves and the Holy Spirit will come to you. Ask - I will take your petitions and present them to God our Father, who will answer them in His own time. I recommend that you pray this prayer each day:

Prayer: OUR LADY of ALL NATIONS

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father,

send now Your Spirit over the earth.

Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations

that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war.

May the Lady of All Nations, be our Advocate. Amen.

If ever there was a time when we needed the Holy Spirit and His peace, it is now. What about those who do not believe in the Virgin Mary and do not pray to her? Will they go to heaven? I think there are people in heaven who didn't know Mary until they got there. If someone never had the opportunity to know about Mary on this earth, it is not their fault. I don't think God holds that against them.

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated December 8, a very important date. Many years ago, in 1792, Mary was chosen by Bishop Carroll as the protector of the United States. There is a huge church in her honor called the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Ask Mary for your special needs. She is a powerful intercessor. Don't be fooled by satan, as he offers you false gods. He wants to make you proud. The Holy Spirit cannot enter your hearts if you are not humble. Often, as I am praying the rosary, I find the answer to my problems. May the Holy Spirit come and live in all the nations in this world and drive all the evil away.

Love and prayers,
Sister Francelle
