You are never alone

Dearest Ones,

Many important people throughout the world hire bodyguards to protect them from physical harm. We may not be rich and famous and we can't afford to hire bodyguards, but we have even better than bodyguards. We have constant protection, day and night, 24/7, from our guardian angels. They are free, heaven-sent bodyguards, who protect not only our bodies, but our souls too. The worth of our souls is so great that God provides each of us with a bodyguard, called our guardian angel. A few holy people were privileged by God to see and hear their guardian angel while in this life. The great majority of us do not hear them, we don't see them but talk to them with our heart. The Bible is full of accounts where angels protected people: - St. Peter was jailed and heavily guarded, when an angel threw open the jail doors, paralyzed the guards and led him outside where his friends were waiting. They had been praying to the angels to help him. - Our Lord Jesus Himself, while suffering greatly in the garden the night before he was put to death, was comforted by an angel. Jesus told the apostles to let the children come to Him because their angels are constantly in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Angels really exist, they are as real as you and me. They not cute, chubby little pink things like in fairy tales for children. They are big and strong. They are warriors, which means they are fighters - real supermen. Wherever you are, they are there right now. Their powers are far beyond human powers - more brilliant than the smartest man in the world. At God's command they rule heaven and earth. There are also evil angels, called devils, who disobeyed God. Unfortunately, they go around the world trying to get as many souls as possible to disobey God, too, so they will be in hell with them forever. It's hard to believe we really do have our very own angel - everybody does, even bad people. How sad those angels assigned to bad people must feel when the person they are guarding loses his soul. Why not ask your angel to help you with a business deal, or some other problem in your life? Pray for faith in your guardian angel. I know some parents who pray to their children's guardian angels when they are out at night. If you are praying with someone who is dying, it's a good thing to pray to their guardian angel. We're never too old to pray to our guardian angel - angels are not just for kids. Why is it that all people don't listen to their angels, who inspires them to do the right thing? It is because we have a free will. God respects our power to choose - our angels respect that, too, so they will never force us to obey God. How wonderful that our angels are with us constantly, leading us to the Eucharist, bread of angels, to grow in our love for Mary, our Mother and to a greater love for the Church. In my personal experience, I have found when I go to pray, if I ask my angel to help me not to be distracted, he helps me to pray. Our angels can do so much, if we only ask. It's not just a child devotion. When we grow older, we may be tempted to put it aside. Didn't Our Lord say:"See I am sending my angel to guard you in all of your ways?" Exodus 23:20.You all have probably experienced help from your guardian angel. Angels may appear as ordinary people. That's why the Bible tells us to show hospitality to everyone who comes to your home, as they may be angels in disguise. Your best friend might even be an angel!!!!

With love and prayers,
Sister Francelle
